Leg and back finishes

The Ginza Dining Chair layers an upholstered seat and back pad over a molded plywood shell, so the front reads soft and the back shows clean wood veneer. The plywood back is offered in walnut or black oak veneer, and the slender tapered legs are solid beech in walnut, wenge or natural finish, which gives six ways to match a table and floor. Its 18.5 in seat and narrow 21 in width let you fit more chairs along a dining table than a typical upholstered chair. The seat pad shown is cinnamon PPM-FR, a warm Mid-Century tone that wipes clean after meals.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
