Frame finish

The Genoa Wood Armchair pairs a curved, slotted back with a solid ash frame stained walnut, giving a dining room or restaurant a Mid-Century armchair that still reads light. The back is cut open at the center, so the chair looks airy from behind when it is pulled up to a table, and the armrests sit low enough to tuck under most dining tops. Seat and back are wrapped in bonded leather that wipes clean after meals. The bone, caramel and green colors all sit on the same walnut-finish ash, so you can keep a room tonal or mix colors around one table.

Planning notes

• Allow about 26 to 28 in of table edge per armchair; at 24 in wide it needs more room than a side chair.
• Check that your table apron leaves at least 26 in of clearance if you want the arms to slide under.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
