Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather, PPM-FR is its flame-retardant version, nubuck is a soft brushed finish and the off-white seat is a looped boucle. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, Camira Blazer is a wool contract fabric, and the caramel seat is full-grain Italian leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Gazel Wood stool brings the curved Gazel shell up to counter or bar height on four solid wood legs, joined by a round metal ring that doubles as the footrest. It is the warmest stool in the family, made for kitchens and bars where wood floors, cabinetry or butcher block set the tone. The legs are solid beech in a walnut or natural finish, with a chrome or gold ring, or solid American walnut with a chrome ring. A sprung steel seat frame molded in polyurethane foam sits under a removable slipcover.

• The metal ring takes the wear of shoes, so the wood legs stay clean.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
