Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather, PPM-FR is its flame-retardant version, nubuck is a soft brushed finish and the off-white seat is a looped boucle. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, Camira Blazer is a wool contract fabric, and the caramel seat is full-grain Italian leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Gazel Pyramid-MW stool takes the angled pyramid silhouette and builds it in steel, so the Gazel tub seat swivels on four slim legs that converge under the seat, ringed by a footrest. Steel legs keep the look light and stand up to daily commercial use, while walnut or natural veneer over the steel adds wood warmth; a black base with a brass footrest is the dressier option. Every version swivels, and the memory swivel upgrade returns the seat to face the counter after each guest gets up, keeping a bar or island lined up. A sprung steel seat frame in molded polyurethane foam sits under a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between standard and memory swivel?

Both turn freely. A memory swivel also returns the seat to its starting position when you stand up, so a row of stools stays aligned.

Is the base wood or metal?

It is steel. The walnut and natural versions are wood veneer over steel; the third version is black powder coat with a brass footrest.

Can it be used commercially?

Yes. It is built for residential and commercial use and rated for 350 lb.

Counter or bar height?

Counter has a 24 in seat; bar has a 29 in seat.

Why do prices differ?

Faux leather seats cost the least and Camira Blazer wool or Italian leather the most, with PPM, nubuck, boucle and Camira Era in between. The black and brass base and the memory swivel each add a surcharge.
