Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather, PPM-FR is its flame-retardant version, nubuck is a soft brushed finish and the off-white seat is a looped boucle. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, Camira Blazer is a wool contract fabric, and the caramel seat is full-grain Italian leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Gazel Carrot is the swivel member of the Gazel dining family: a solid metal hub under the seat turns on its base and branches into four tubular legs that taper toward the floor like a carrot. It lets diners pivot toward conversation or out from the table without dragging the chair, which is useful at round tables, in kitchens and in busy restaurants. Two two-tone finishes are offered, black powder coat with brass, or walnut with polished stainless steel, each with plastic glides at the feet. The seat is a sprung steel frame in molded polyurethane foam, covered with a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
