Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather, PPM-FR is its flame-retardant version, nubuck is a soft brushed finish, and the off-white and blue Camira Yoredale seats are boucle weaves. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, Camira Blazer is a wool contract fabric, and the caramel seat is full-grain Italian leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Gazel Arm Pyramid Wood stool turns on a solid wood pyramid: four legs angle inward to a swivel mechanism under the armed Gazel seat, with a round metal footrest around them. Arms plus a swivel make it one of the most relaxed tall seats in the family, easy to turn toward a conversation and comfortable for long stretches at an island or home bar. The base comes in beech with a walnut finish or natural ash with chrome, or solid American walnut with either a white mechanism and chrome footrest or a black mechanism and gold footrest. The upholstered shell is foam molded over a steel frame with S-springs, with a slipcover that removes for care.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
