Seat upholstery. The Falcon seat comes in five PPM-S colors (a silicone-finish performance leatherette) or two Camira Blazer wool fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

Falcon Wire sets the saddle-shaped Falcon shell on a black solid-steel wire frame, a light, see-through stool for kitchen islands, coffee bars and cafe counters where bulky seating would crowd the room. The shell is one piece of molded plywood, fully upholstered, with a low back that supports without blocking sightlines across an open plan. The wire frame has a built-in footrest and plastic glides fitted into the wire ends, so it slides easily on tile or sealed concrete. Order it at counter or bar height.

Planning notes

• Counter height (23.5 in seat) suits 35 to 37 in counters; bar height (30 in seat) suits 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 22 in of counter length per stool.
• The low back slides under most countertop overhangs, so stools can tuck in when not in use.
• Add felt pads if you need extra protection on soft wood floors.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and leg combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Counter or bar height?

The counter version has a 23.5 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters. The bar version has a 30 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

What is the frame made of?

Solid steel wire with a black powder-coat finish. The footrest is part of the welded frame.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 250 lb.

Will it scratch my floor?

Each wire foot ends in a plastic glide. On soft wood floors, add felt pads under the glides.

Why do the prices differ?

PPM-S seats cost less than Camira Blazer wool seats. The base is the same black wire at both heights and both prices.

Is the seat padded?

Yes. The molded plywood shell is fully upholstered over padding, with the cover wrapping the back as well as the seat.
