Seat upholstery. The Falcon seat comes in five PPM-S colors (a silicone-finish performance leatherette) or two Camira Blazer wool fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

Falcon Pyramid-MW (metal and wood) has the same splayed pyramid stance as the solid wood version, but each leg is steel wrapped in walnut or natural wood veneer, which makes the frame stronger and lets it carry up to 300 lb. A memory swivel hub turns the seat and brings it back to face forward when you stand. The footrest ring is chrome on the veneer versions and brass on the all-black frame. It is a good fit for restaurant counters that want the warmth of wood with the durability of metal.

Planning notes

• The bar seat is 28 in high, about 2 in lower than standard; it works best at 38 to 40 in bar tops.
• Allow about 24 in per stool for the splayed legs and the turning seat.
• The memory swivel returns each seat to center, so a row of stools always looks lined up.
• Choose black with brass to pick up brass shelving, taps or lighting.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
