Leg finishes

The Eiffel Plywood rests the shell on two curved, molded plywood leg pieces, a Mid-Century construction that gives the chair a soft, continuous profile from the side. The layered wood is strong for its thickness and shows its grain at the edges, so the base looks crafted without being heavy. Choose a natural finish, wenge, or American walnut veneer, and add the memory swivel mechanism if you want the seat to turn and return; it raises the seat by about 1 in. The upholstered seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs and molded foam under a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
