Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S, PPM-FR and Italian PPM are polyurethane performance leathers, and boucle is a soft looped fabric. Camira Blazer wool and genuine leather are the premium seats. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Eiffel Galata stool is the simplest four-leg base in the Eiffel range: slim steel tube legs, slightly splayed, with a footrest ring set at a comfortable height. Its clean lines suit everything from a minimalist kitchen island to a busy cafe counter, and it is one of the more affordable ways into the Eiffel seat. Choose black, chrome or brass at counter or bar height. The armless seat is a sprung steel frame in molded polyurethane foam with a removable Velcro slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Faux leather seats are the least expensive, PPM and boucle are mid-priced, and Camira Blazer wool and genuine leather cost the most. Chrome and brass legs add a surcharge over black.
