Base finishes

The Eiffel Arm Carrot swivel armchair gets its name from the base: a solid metal swivel top that branches into four tubular legs, each tapering toward the floor like a carrot. It comes in two two-tone versions, black powder coat with brass accents or walnut with polished stainless steel, so the chair reads as a finished piece of furniture rather than a plain metal frame. It suits dining tables, cafe seating and lounge corners where people turn to talk. The winged seat is a sprung steel frame in molded foam with a removable Velcro slipcover.

• The 17 in seat suits 29 to 30 in dining tables and bistro tables.
• Arms are 24.5 in high, a little lower than most Eiffel armchairs, so they clear more table aprons.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
