Base finishes

The Dervish Round armchair sits on a single steel column over a flat, round stainless steel disc, the cleanest and most compact of the Dervish swivel bases. With no legs to trip over, it slides close to pedestal tables, tight booths and conference tables, and it is easy to clean around. Polished stainless gives a bright, chrome-like shine; brushed stainless hides fingerprints and scuffs in busy rooms. The seat swivels on the column and is built on a sprung steel frame molded in polyurethane foam, under a zippered slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
