Leg finishes

The Dervish MW armchair stands on four slender steel dowel legs braced by thin cross wires underneath, a lean Mid-Century base that keeps the rounded seat looking light at the table. Order it fixed for a classic dining chair, or add the memory swivel mechanism so the seat turns and returns to face the table, which raises the seat by about 1 in. Finishes run from black and stainless steel to walnut or natural wood veneer over steel. A steel seat frame with S-shaped springs sits inside molded foam, and the slipcover zips off when it is time to refresh it.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
