Leg finishes

The Dervish Carrot armchair swivels on a solid metal hub that branches into four tubular legs, each one tapering toward the floor like its namesake. The taper keeps the base visually light while the solid top plate gives a smooth, steady turn, which suits round tables and restaurant seating where guests pivot to talk. Two two-tone finishes are offered: black powder coat with brass, or walnut with polished stainless steel. Inside the curved shell, a steel frame on S-shaped springs is encased in foam, then covered with a removable zippered slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
