Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM and the flame-retardant PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, and Camira Blazer and Zap are wool upholstery fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

Dallas Max Swivel combines the comfort of the padded Dallas seat and low back with a seat that turns on four tubular steel legs. Guests can swing around to join a conversation or step down without dragging the stool, which protects floors and saves space behind the counter. A round footrest ring circles the legs, and the base comes in black, stainless steel, a walnut finish or brass. The seat has a sprung steel frame and molded foam under a removable Velcro slipcover.

• Black and stainless steel suit high-traffic spaces; brass is the dressier upgrade.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
