Base finishes

Dallas Galata pairs the upholstered Dallas seat and low back with a four-leg base of tubular steel and a welded footrest, a tough, easy-to-clean stool for kitchens that see heavy use. The counter version sits lower than most Dallas stools, at a 23 in seat, which makes it the go-to choice for standard and slightly low counters. The base comes in black, chrome or brass, and each leg ends in a glide. Inside the seat, a steel frame with S-shaped springs supports molded foam under a removable slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
