Seat upholstery. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather with a soft, leather-like hand. The gold velvet is a plush pile fabric. Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, and Camira Blazer is a pure new wool contract fabric in deeper, richer colors. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Crescent Galata stool sets the curved Crescent seat on a four-leg frame of steel tube, a straightforward, sturdy stool for kitchen islands and busy bars. The tubular legs and cross rails give it a clean, Industrial-Modern outline, and a round footrest ring gives your feet a place to rest. Choose matte black for a quiet, graphic look, or chrome or brass to bring some shine to the counter. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs inside molded polyurethane foam, finished with a removable zippered slipcover.

Planning notes

• The counter version has a lower 23 in seat, a good fit for 34 to 36 in counters; the 29 in bar seat suits 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 26 in of counter edge per stool; the stool is 24 in wide.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
