Leg finishes

The Corona Pyramid Wood stool sets a swiveling Corona plywood seat on a pyramid of four splayed solid-wood legs that meet under the seat and are ringed by a round footrest. The wide stance makes it steady, and the swivel lets guests turn without scraping the stool across the floor, a good combination for islands, home bars and restaurant counters. Choose walnut-finish beech or natural ash with a chrome footrest, or solid American walnut with either a white mechanism and chrome footrest or a black mechanism and gold footrest. A removable pad cushions the seat and back.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

Does the seat swivel?

Yes. A swivel mechanism under the seat lets it turn while the wood base stays in place.

Counter or bar height?

The counter stool has a 22 in seat and the bar stool a 28 in seat. The pad adds about an inch.

What does the mechanism color mean?

The swivel plate between seat and legs is visible from the side. On American walnut bases you can choose a white plate with chrome footrest or a black plate with gold footrest.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 185 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Solid American walnut bases cost more than beech or ash. Camira Blazer wool pads cost more than faux leather, nubuck, boucle and Camira Era pads.
