Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM-FR is a flame-retardant polyurethane leather, nubuck and boucle are soft-hand fabrics, and Camira Era and Camira Blazer wool are woven contract fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Corona Pyramid-MW Full Upholstery stool adds a swivel to the fully covered Corona seat. Four splayed steel legs meet under the seat in a pyramid shape around the swivel mechanism, and a round footrest ring braces them lower down. The legs are steel wrapped in walnut or natural wood veneer with a chrome ring, or black powder coat with a brass ring, so you get the warmth of wood with the slimness of metal. Swivel makes it easy to turn from the island to the room, which is why it is popular in open-plan kitchens and in bars where guests talk across the counter.

Planning notes

• Counter version: 23 in seat for 34 to 36 in counters. Bar version: 28 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Leave a little extra space between stools, about 24 in, so swiveling guests do not knock knees.
• The splayed legs need clear floor around the base; check that island overhang brackets do not interfere.
• Black with brass is the surcharge finish.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and leg combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
