Base finishes

The Corona Handle Back Wire stool lifts the molded plywood Corona seat onto a solid wire frame whose back legs rise into a loop behind the backrest, giving you a built-in handle for pulling the stool out from an island or bar. The wire frame includes a footrest rail at the front, and its open structure keeps a row of stools looking light against the counter. A removable pad covers the seat and lower back for comfort and can be swapped when tastes or uniforms change. Choose counter or bar height in chrome or black.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 22 in of counter per stool; the seat is 15 in wide.
• The handle loop sits behind the back, so leave room behind the row for people to pass.
• Black wire hides fingerprints better than chrome in busy service areas.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Frequently asked questions

Counter or bar height?

Counter stools have a 24 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters. Bar stools have a 29 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops. The pad adds about an inch.

Is there a footrest?

Yes. The wire frame has a footrest rail across the front legs.

What is the handle for?

The rear legs continue up behind the back as a loop, so you can lift or slide the stool without grabbing the seat.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 235 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather, PPM-FR, nubuck, boucle and Camira Era pads are the standard price; Camira Blazer wool pads cost more. Chrome and black cost the same.

Does the stool swivel?
