Seat upholstery. Faux leather and PPM-FR are wipeable polyurethane leathers, smoke grey nubuck is a soft brushed fabric, and Camira Blazer is a pure-wool contract fabric. The back shell is American walnut plywood on every color. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Corona Comfort Galata stool sets the padded Comfort cushion and American walnut plywood back on a four-leg tubular steel frame braced by steel rails that serve as the footrest. Walnut against brass is the signature look, warm and a little Art Deco; walnut against black reads Industrial; chrome keeps it bright and Modern. The fixed frame keeps a bar run straight and orderly, which restaurant owners appreciate. Its 23 in counter seat is lower than most, a good match for 34 to 35 in counters.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

The counter version has a 23 in seat, best for 34 to 35 in counters. The bar version has a 29 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Is there a footrest?

Yes. Steel rails between the legs serve as the footrest.

Does it swivel?

No. The Galata frame is fixed, which keeps rows of stools aligned.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 185 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather, PPM-FR and nubuck seats share the lower price; Camira Blazer wool costs more. Black is the standard frame; chrome and brass carry a surcharge.

Can I use my own fabric?
