Seat upholstery. Faux leather and PPM-FR are wipeable polyurethane leathers, smoke grey nubuck is a soft brushed fabric, and Camira Blazer is a pure-wool contract fabric. The back shell is American walnut plywood on every color. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Corona Comfort Dr. Wood stool brings together three warm materials: a padded Comfort cushion, an American walnut plywood back shell and four tapered solid wood legs held by a round metal footrest ring. The ring is the detail that sets the Dr. Wood apart from the plain Corona Wood, giving a durable place for feet and a bright accent at mid-height. Pick walnut-stained beech with a chrome or gold ring, or solid American walnut with chrome for the closest match to the walnut back. It looks at home in Mid-Century and Transitional kitchens and in hospitality bars.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

Counter or bar height?

The counter version has a 24 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters. The bar version has a 29 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

How is it different from the Corona Wood Comfort?

The Dr. Wood base has a round metal ring footrest in chrome or gold; the Corona Wood Comfort has a chrome footrest between straight legs.

Which metal is the ring?

Chrome on all three bases, or gold on walnut-finish beech.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 185 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather, PPM-FR and nubuck seats share the lower price; Camira Blazer wool costs more. The gold ring and solid American walnut legs each carry a surcharge.
