Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM-FR is a flame-retardant polyurethane leather, nubuck and boucle are soft-hand fabrics, and Camira Era and Camira Blazer wool are woven contract fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Corona Cat-Wire Full Upholstery stool is the most affordable way into a fully covered Corona seat: the same curved seat and back, upholstered all round, on a slim solid steel wire frame. The Cat base uses thin solid wire legs braced by a low wire stretcher that doubles as a footrest, so the footprint stays small and several stools tuck tightly under a short peninsula. Chrome and black suit Modern and Industrial kitchens, while brass gives a warmer, Mid-Century tone. It is a light stool to lift and move, which helps in cafes where floors are mopped nightly.

Planning notes

• Seat heights are 25 in (counter) and 28 in (bar), so the counter version sits a little taller than most counter stools; check a 36 in counter top.
• At 15 in wide, plan about 21 in of counter per stool.
• The low wire stretcher is the footrest; it sits at a comfortable height for both counter and bar versions.
• Brass is a surcharge finish and the most likely to be made to order.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and base combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Frequently asked questions

Counter or bar height?

The counter version has a 25 in seat for 36 in counters. The bar version has a 28 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Is there a footrest?

Yes. A wire stretcher low on the frame serves as the footrest.

Does it swivel?

No. The Cat-Wire base is fixed. For a swivel version, look at the Corona Pyramid-MW or Corona Max swivel stools.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 230 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather, PPM-FR, nubuck, boucle and Camira Era seats share the lower price, and Camira Blazer wool costs more. The brass base carries a surcharge; chrome and black do not.

Can I use my own fabric?

Yes. It takes 1.6 yd of fabric or 28 sq ft of leather. Contact us for customer-own-material orders.
