Seat upholstery. Faux leather and PPM-FR are wipeable polyurethane leathers, smoke grey nubuck is a soft brushed fabric, and Camira Blazer is a pure-wool contract fabric. The back shell is American walnut plywood on every color. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Corona Cat-Wire Comfort stool is the lightest-looking way to get the Comfort seat: a padded cushion on plywood with an American walnut back shell, perched on a thin solid steel wire frame. The Cat base has slim wire legs and a low wire stretcher for a footrest, so a row of stools reads almost transparent under a stone counter. It is the entry price point of the Corona Comfort range and rated for 230 lb. Pick brass for a warm Mid-Century tone, or chrome and black for Modern and Industrial rooms.

Planning notes

• The counter version has a tall 26 in seat; it suits 37 to 38 in counters better than low 34 in ones.
• Choose the bar version (29 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Plan about 21 in of counter per stool.
• Brass carries a surcharge and is often made to order.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and base combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
