Seat upholstery. The padded seat is covered in black PPM-S (502-40), a silicone-finished performance leather. The back is walnut veneer plywood, or padded in the same PPM-S. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Frame finish

The Coral Soft Seat stool brings a padded black PPM-S seat to counter and bar height on a gunmetal steel frame, for kitchen islands and bar tops where people settle in rather than perch. Keep the walnut veneer back for a warm accent that shows across the room, or order the back padded to match for a sleek all-black line at a hotel or cocktail bar. The tapered Coral back legs and a full steel footrest keep the stool steady and give feet a durable rest. Gunmetal has a soft metallic sheen that sits well with concrete counters, stone and dark wood.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 22 in of counter edge per stool.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Frequently asked questions

What heights are available?

Counter, with a 25.6 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters, and bar, with a 29.5 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Walnut back or padded back?

Both have the same padded black PPM-S seat and gunmetal frame. The walnut back adds wood warmth; the padded back gives an all-black look and more cushioning against the back.

Why does the padded back cost more?

Upholstering the back adds foam and PPM-S, so that version costs more than the walnut-back version. Height does not change the price.

Does it have a footrest?

Yes. A gunmetal steel footrest runs between the legs on both heights.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 300 lb.

Can I order it in my own fabric?

Yes, in customer's own material: about 1 yd of fabric or 18 sq ft of leather. Contact us for COM orders.
