Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. The velvets are soft, short-pile upholstery fabrics, Camira Era is a woven contract fabric, and Camira Blazer is a pure new wool contract fabric. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finish

The Chelsea Slide pairs the same wide, reclined Chelsea seat with a pared-back chrome sled: two parallel steel runners bent up into the frame, with no cross members to catch the eye. It is the calmer of the two Chelsea bases, at home in waiting rooms, office lounges, condo amenity rooms and living rooms where several chairs line up along a wall. The runners glide when the chair is moved and keep it steady on tile, concrete and wood. The seat and back are a steel frame with S-shaped springs inside injected polyurethane foam, covered in faux leather, velvet, Camira Era fabric or Camira Blazer wool.

Care

Wipe faux leather, PPM and leather with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric, velvet and boucle regularly with a soft brush and blot spills at once; do not rub. Keep the chair out of strong direct sun to protect the color, and wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
