The Briancon Stick looks like a classic four-legged armchair, but its slim steel tube legs meet at a hidden swivel, so the bonded leather shell turns while the legs stay planted. The tailored shell with flared arms holds a loose fabric cushion that lifts out for cleaning or a color change. It is a good fit for dining rooms and meeting tables where you want movement without the office look of a star base. The legs come in black, chrome, gold or brass, or faced with walnut or natural wood veneer.
