Base finishes

Bottega Sword pairs the winged lounge seat with four angled steel-tube blades, finished in black or a walnut tone, that fan out from a swivel hub. The look is Mid-Century and a little architectural, which is why it shows up in boutique hotels, cocktail lounges and design studios. The blades span 28.7 in and tilt the seat back 3° for an easy, relaxed posture. Underneath the cover is a steel frame with S-shaped springs and injected foam, built for daily contract use.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
