Leg finishes

The Bottega Pyramid Wood stool carries the swivel pyramid of solid wood legs up to counter or bar height and ties the four legs together with a round metal footrest. It brings the warmth of real wood to a kitchen island or bar while letting each seat turn toward the conversation. Choose beech with a walnut finish, natural ash, or solid American walnut with either a white mechanism and chrome footrest or a black mechanism and gold footrest. The upholstered Bottega seat has arms, a steel frame with S-shaped springs in molded polyurethane foam, and a zip-on slipcover.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter (24 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar (29 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• The stool is 24 in wide with arms; allow about 26 to 28 in of counter per stool so neighbors can swivel.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.
• The high back is not offered in PPM.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and leg combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

Counter stools have a 24 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters; bar stools have a 29 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Does it swivel?

Yes. The seat turns 360 degrees above the wood legs.

Is there a footrest?

Yes. A round metal footrest ring joins the four legs: chrome on most finishes, gold on American walnut with the black mechanism.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 250 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather costs least, PPM, velvet, boucle and Camira Era are mid-priced, and Camira Blazer wool and Italian leather are highest. Natural ash and American walnut legs cost more than beech, and the high back is extra.

Which wood is solid?

All of them: beech, ash and American walnut are solid wood. The beech is finished in a walnut tone.
