Leg finishes

The Bottega Pyramid joins four solid wood legs into a pyramid under a swivel hub, so you get the warmth of a wood chair with a seat that turns. It is a favorite for offices, reception areas and dining rooms that want natural materials without giving up the ease of a swivel. The legs come in beech with a walnut finish, natural ash, or solid American walnut for the richest grain. Above them, the Bottega shell is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs inside molded polyurethane foam, with a slipcover that zips off. A taller high back is available.

Planning notes

• Seat height is 17 in, for 29 to 30 in tables and desks.
• Solid American walnut has the deepest color and the most grain variation; beech with walnut finish is more uniform.
• Allow about 26 in of table length per chair.
• The high back is not offered in PPM.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
