Leg finishes

The Bottega Pyramid-MW gives you the swivel pyramid stance of the wood Pyramid stool with slimmer steel legs, so the base looks lighter and takes heavy daily use. Four steel legs meet under a swivel hub and are tied together by a round metal footrest. Walnut and natural veneer wraps bring a wood look with a chrome footrest, while black legs with a brass footrest give a sharper, Modern contrast. The arm seat turns a full circle, so people at an island can face the room or each other, and it is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs in molded polyurethane foam with a zip-on slipcover.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter (24 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar (29 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow 26 to 28 in of counter per stool so neighbors can swivel freely.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.
• The high back is not offered in PPM.
• Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and leg combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

The Pyramid Wood has solid wood legs; the Pyramid-MW has slimmer steel legs with veneer or black finish and is rated for more weight.
