Base finishes

Bottega's lounge seat is a low, wide armchair with rounded wings that wrap the elbows, and on the oval base it gains an automatic-return swivel. Guests can turn toward a conversation, and when they leave the chair swings back to face the room. That makes it a strong pick for hotel lobbies, bank and clinic lounges, and living rooms where chairs should look set. The sprung steel frame and molded foam give a supportive sit at a 16 in seat height, and the slipcover zips off for replacement.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
