Leg finishes

The Bottega MW stool carries the slim steel legs of the MW armchair up to counter and bar height, with a metal footrest set between the legs. It is a light, adaptable stool for islands and bars where you want the seat, not the base, to set the tone. Choose black, stainless steel, or legs wrapped in natural or walnut veneer, and add a memory swivel to any finish so the seat turns and then returns to face the counter; the swivel raises the seat by 1 in. Rated for 350 lb, the stool has a sprung steel-frame seat in molded polyurethane foam with a zip-on slipcover.

• Choose Counter (24 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar (29 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops. The memory swivel adds 1 in.
• Allow about 26 in of counter per stool.
• Memory swivel keeps a row of stools neatly facing the counter after guests leave.
• The high back is not offered in PPM.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
