Leg finishes

The Bottega Galata stool lifts the Bottega arm seat on four slim tubular steel legs braced by a footrest, a clean, graphic frame that reads well in a long row at a kitchen island or hotel bar. The narrow tubes keep the base visually quiet so the upholstery color does the talking. Black is the standard finish, and chrome or brass upgrade the frame to match faucets, pendants and bar rails. Plastic glides protect the floor. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs inside molded polyurethane foam, under a zip-on slipcover, in counter or bar height.

• Allow about 26 in of counter per stool for the 24 in wide arm seat.
• Brass and chrome are plated finishes; wipe them dry after spills.
• The high back is not offered in PPM.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
