Base finishes

The Bottega Cross is the entry point to the Bottega collection: the same sprung, fully upholstered armchair shell on a simple base of steel tubes that cross beneath the seat and run down to four feet. The crossed frame is rigid and light, which makes it a dependable choice for long conference tables, training rooms and busy restaurants that need many matching chairs. Choose polished stainless steel tube for a bright, Modern look or black painted steel to recede against dark floors. The shell is a steel frame with S-shaped springs in molded polyurethane foam, with a zip-on slipcover that can be replaced.

• Allow about 26 in of table length per chair.
• Black tube hides scuffs from shoes better than polished stainless in high-traffic rooms.
• The high back is not offered in PPM.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
