Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry seat. PPM, PPM-FR and S-PPM are polyurethane performance leathers; velvet, boucle and Camira Era are upholstery fabrics. Base finishes

The Bottega Arm Office puts the Bottega armchair, with its flared arms and gently winged back, on a five-star office base with gas lift, full tilt and casters. It is the conference-room chair in this range: comfortable through long meetings, easy to roll back from the table and polished enough for a client-facing boardroom. Choose the standard back, or the high back for more shoulder support at a desk. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs in molded polyurethane foam under a zip-off slipcover.

Planning notes

• Arms sit 22.5 to 25.5 in high, so check that they clear the underside of your table (usually 26 to 27 in).
• At 24 in wide, allow about 28 in per chair around a conference table.
• Choose the high back for desk work; the standard back slides closer to tables.
• The high back is not offered in the PPM leathers (PPM, PPM-FR, S-PPM).

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a high-back version?

Yes. Choose High Back under Back Height for a taller back with more shoulder support. It is offered in every seat except the PPM leathers.

Will the arms fit under my table?

The arms sit 22.5 to 25.5 in high depending on the gas lift setting. Most tables with a 26 to 27 in clearance will take them at the lower settings.

What is the seat height range?

The gas lift sets the seat from 17.5 to 21.5 in.

Does it tilt and roll?

Yes. The base has full tilt, swivel and casters.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather is the lowest-priced seat. PPM, PPM-FR, S-PPM, velvet, boucle and Camira Era fabric are the middle tier, and Camira Blazer wool and Italian leather cost the most. Gold and aluminum bases and the high back each add a small surcharge.

Can the cover be changed?

Yes. The upholstery is a zippered slipcover that can be removed and replaced.
