Base finishes
The Athena Tower stands on a base of criss-crossed steel rods that rise from four feet like a small lattice tower, a nod to the classic Eiffel-style chair base. The open web is strong and visually light, so a row of Tower chairs keeps a dining room feeling airy. The legs are fixed and the chair sits square at the table. Pick chrome or black for a Modern or Industrial room, red for a bold accent, or gold for glamour. Like every Athena, the seat hides a spring-tensioned steel frame cast inside polyurethane foam.

Care
Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
