Base finishes

The Athena Round sits on a single steel column over a heavy round disc base, so there are no legs to trip over or tangle with table legs. The disc keeps the chair stable and the column swivels, which makes it a natural fit for booths, banquettes and tight restaurant layouts as well as home dining rooms. At about 44 lb, it stays put on the floor. Choose polished stainless steel for shine or brushed for a softer, fingerprint-hiding finish. The rounded shell is framed in steel with S-springs and molded in foam, so it stays firm under daily restaurant use.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
