Leg finishes

The Athena Plywood rests on legs formed from molded, layered plywood, a technique closely tied to Mid-Century Modern design. The bent wood flexes very slightly, which makes the chair feel lively when you lean back, and the layered edge shows a fine striped grain. It is a fixed-leg chair, so it lines up neatly at a dining or conference table. Choose a light natural finish, deep wenge, or American walnut veneer. The rounded shell is a sprung steel frame molded in polyurethane foam.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
