Leg finishes

MW stands for metal and wire: four tapered steel legs braced underneath by thin steel wires that keep the base rigid without a heavy stretcher. The result is a light, open base that lets the rounded Athena shell take center stage, a good match for glass or marble tables. The legs are fixed, so the chair stays square at the table. Choose black or stainless steel, or legs faced with walnut or natural wood veneer. Its seat is built the Athena way, with S-springs stretched across a steel frame and wrapped in molded foam.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
