The marble Alfa gives the C-shaped pull-up table a stone top: white Italian Carrara marble framed in finely brushed stainless steel. The base slides under a sofa, armchair or bed while the top reaches over your lap, so a coffee cup, book or laptop sits right where you need it. Marble adds weight and a softer, classic look, which suits living rooms and bedrooms that lean warmer than the black glass version. At 24 inches high it clears most sofa seats and arms, and the narrow 12 inch width slips into gaps where a round side table will not fit.

Care

Marble is natural stone and slightly porous: use coasters, wipe spills (especially wine, coffee and citrus) right away with a soft damp cloth, and dry the surface. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners. Wipe the metal frame with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads, which scratch steel. Each marble top has its own veining and shade, so no two tables match exactly.
