Frame. The Academy Soft Seat frame comes in matt black or bronze gold steel, and the frame sets the price. The seat is black PPM-S, and the back is walnut or oak veneer. Screens show finishes slightly differently than real life.

Seat upholstery

The Academy Soft Seat keeps the bent steel arm frame and molded veneer back of the Academy armchair, then adds a padded seat in black PPM-S for longer sittings. It is a good middle ground for restaurants and meeting rooms: comfortable enough for a full meal, yet the steel and veneer still wipe down quickly. Choose a matt black frame for an Industrial look or bronze gold for a warmer, hospitality feel, and a walnut or light oak veneer back. Chairs ship assembled, four to a box.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
