Seat upholstery. The Aaron stool is padded in PPM-S, a polyurethane performance leather with a 5-year guarantee that wipes clean after meals at the counter. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Frame finishes

The Aaron stool takes the rounded back pad of the Aaron dining chair up to kitchen-island and bar height, so the two can be used together in an open-plan space. Four tapered solid ash legs are tied by stretchers, and the front stretcher doubles as a footrest. The seat and back are padded in black or grey PPM-S, and the frame comes in walnut or black finish. It is a fixed, non-swivel stool that ships assembled, a calm Mid-Century choice for islands, home bars and restaurant counters.

Planning notes
- Choose Counter (25 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar (29 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
- Allow about 24 in of counter per stool; the stool is 18.5 in wide.
- Keep 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter for knees.
- The back is low and rounded, so stools tuck neatly under an overhang when not in use.

Care
Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
Designer credit
The Aaron collection is made for sohoConcept, a contract and residential seating maker.
