Pablo Sky Dome Wood Flush Mount, Wall or Ceiling, Up and Down Light, 18 or 24 in

A flush mount that throws light both ways: down for the room, up for the ceiling, on a ceiling or a wall, in a wood dome only about 4 inches deep.

We curate lighting for spaces where ceiling height is tight and the fixture has to earn its place. Sky Dome Flush Wood pairs a polished aluminum or matte black lamp with a pressed white oak or walnut dome, so it adds warmth without hanging into the room. It mounts to a ceiling or a wall, in 18 in or 24 in diameters.

Best for / where to use it

• Hallways and corridors: 18 in over a run, with uplight that lifts a narrow ceiling.
• Bedrooms and kids rooms: glare-free general light that is easy to dim.
• Entries and mudrooms: 24 in where there is room to see the wood.
• Hotel rooms and offices: a quiet, flat profile that stays out of sightlines.
• Wall mounting: beside a stair or over a bench where a sconce would be too small.

Installation & planning

• Hardwired to a ceiling or wall junction box by a licensed electrician.
• Depth is about 4 in (10 cm), so check clearance for doors, heads and neighboring fixtures.
• Uplight needs open surface above the fixture to reflect from; on a wall, expect a wash upward.
• Use a TRIAC/ELV dimmer, or ask us about 0-10V and DALI.
• Plan spacing from the dome diameter: 18 in or 24 in.

Who this is not for

• Wet or damp locations: Pablo publishes no damp or wet rating.
• Anyone who needs a metal dome: this listing is the wood version.
• Plug-in buyers: the fixture is hardwired.

Why we carry it / Trade & project orders

Modern Design Center has curated lighting since 2009 and is an authorized Pablo Designs retailer. We list the wood Sky Dome because it solves low-ceiling lighting without a bulky shade. Designers, architects and hospitality buyers can join our trade program; we quote multi-unit and project orders, and Pablo considers additional finishes on volume orders.
