Frequently asked questions

What do the letters A, B, C and D mean?

They are Pablo's names for the four Totem glass shade profiles, listed in descending size: A is the largest and D the smallest. Up/down pendants and table lamps combine two shades, for example "CB" is a C shade with a B shade.

Which letter is lowest profile?

D is the smallest shade and sits closest to the ceiling; A is the largest.

Does it match the pendants?

Yes. It uses the same opal glass shades as Totem pendants and up/down lights.

What does "dim to warm" mean?

At full brightness Totem glows a 2700K warm white; as you dim it, the light shifts toward a candle-like 2200K, the way an incandescent bulb does.

Which dimmer should I use?

Pablo lists the Totem pendants and flush mounts as compatible with TRIAC/ELV dimmers, with 0–10V and DALI available on request.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated rather than a screw-in bulb and is rated for 50,000 hours, about 17 years at 8 hours a day.
