Pablo Designs Swell Single LED Pendant – Narrow, Damp Rated

Swell Single Narrow is a hand-spun aluminum pendant with a soft satin exterior and a glowing brass interior. Designed by Pablo Studio to bridge indoor and outdoor lighting, it is damp rated for covered outdoor spaces yet refined enough for a dining room. At 8" wide and 14" tall, the narrow shade is the most slender Swell shape, ideal in rows. Mix it with the other Swell shapes to build your own grouping.

Room fit: where it works best

• Best for: rows of 2–4 over a kitchen island or bar, 24–30" apart, or hung low beside a bed.
• Hanging height: hang the bottom of the shade about 30–36" above a tabletop, or at least 7 ft above the floor where people walk; the cord adjusts up to 10 ft.
• Covered outdoors: porches, pergolas with a roof and covered dining terraces.
• Brightness: about 1,000 lumens, similar to a 75 W incandescent bulb.

Placement guidance is our general design rule of thumb, not a Pablo specification.

Who this is not for

• Not a plug-in pendant: it hardwires to a ceiling junction box, ideally installed by an electrician.
• Not for rain-exposed or open outdoor locations. Swell is damp rated for covered areas such as porches and pergolas with a roof, not wet locations.
• If you want very warm 2700K light, ask us first: the standard bulb is 3000K, and 2700K is a special request.

Why we carry it

Swell does something few lights manage: the same fixture belongs in a dining room and on a covered patio. We've been curating modern lighting since 2009, and we like Swell because it's honest about materials — hand-spun aluminum with a warm brass interior — and because it's a system. A single pendant today can grow into a string or a cluster later, and it runs on a standard E26 LED bulb, so it won't become obsolete the day an LED module fails.

Buy once: longevity and care

• Replaceable bulb: each lamp uses a standard E26/PAR30 LED bulb (3000K, about 1,000 lumens), so light output can be renewed for decades.
• Interchangeable shades: Pablo designed the Narrow, Medium and Wide shades to be interchangeable, so you can change the look later without replacing the fixture.
• Care: dust the shade with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive or solvent cleaners on the finish and the brass interior. Outdoors under cover, wipe it down seasonally.
• Warranty: 1-year Pablo Designs product warranty (bulbs excluded, per Pablo warranty terms).

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes, under cover. Swell is damp rated for indoor and covered outdoor areas, such as covered porches and pergolas. It is not rated for wet locations exposed to rain.

Is Swell dimmable?

Yes. Pablo lists Swell as fully dimmable; use a dimmer rated for LED bulbs.

What color temperature is the light?

Standard lamps are 3000K warm white with 90 CRI. 2700K and 3500K versions are available on request; contact our trade desk.

Can I combine it with other Swell pendants?

Yes. Narrow, Medium and Wide shades share the same finishes and are designed to be mixed; Swell also comes as strings and chandeliers.
