Swell Chandelier 3 gathers 3 hand-spun aluminum shades of different shapes at staggered heights under one canopy, creating a cascading cluster of warm light. Each shade pairs a satin exterior with a glowing brass interior, and the fixture is damp rated for covered outdoor spaces as well as foyers, stairwells and dining rooms.

Room fit: where it works best

• Footprint: 28" (71 cm) across with a 45" (114 cm) drop as drawn by Pablo; each cord is field-cuttable, so the drop can be tailored.
• Best for: dining tables, breakfast nooks and entries.
• Clearance: keep the lowest shade about 30–36" above a tabletop, or at least 7 ft above the floor where people walk.
• Brightness: about 3,000 lumens total from 3 lamps.

Placement guidance is our general design rule of thumb, not a Pablo specification.

Who this is not for

• Not for low ceilings where people walk underneath, unless the cords are shortened: plan for the lowest shade at 7 ft or higher.
• It hardwires to a junction box; the canopy is 17" wide, so plan an electrician for installation.
• Not for rain-exposed or open outdoor locations. Swell is damp rated for covered areas such as porches and pergolas with a roof, not wet locations.
• If you want very warm 2700K light, ask us first: the standard bulb is 3000K, and 2700K is a special request.

Swell does something few lights manage: the same fixture belongs in a dining room and on a covered patio. We've been curating modern lighting since 2009, and we like Swell because it's honest about materials — hand-spun aluminum with a warm brass interior — and because it's a system. A single pendant today can grow into a string or a cluster later, and it runs on a standard E26 LED bulb, so it won't become obsolete the day an LED module fails.

Buy once: longevity and care

• Replaceable bulb: each lamp uses a standard E26/PAR30 LED bulb (3000K, about 1,000 lumens), so light output can be renewed for decades.
• Interchangeable shades: Pablo designed the Narrow, Medium and Wide shades to be interchangeable, so you can change the look later without replacing the fixture.
• Care: dust the shade with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive or solvent cleaners on the finish and the brass interior. Outdoors under cover, wipe it down seasonally.
• Warranty: 1-year Pablo Designs product warranty (bulbs excluded, per Pablo warranty terms).

Can I shorten the cords?

Yes, under cover. Swell is damp rated for indoor and covered outdoor areas, such as covered porches and pergolas. It is not rated for wet locations exposed to rain.

Is Swell dimmable?

Yes. Pablo lists Swell as fully dimmable; use a dimmer rated for LED bulbs.

What color temperature is the light?

Standard lamps are 3000K warm white with 90 CRI. 2700K and 3500K versions are available on request; contact our trade desk.
