Bola Lantern starts with Pablo’s Bola Sphere Table 8, a hand-blown opal glass globe floating above a metal disc, and adds a premium leather handle and a rechargeable battery. The result is a portable lamp with real presence: 13 inches tall, 280 lumens of warm light that dims from 2700K to a candle-like 1800K, 95 CRI, and 10 to 400 hours between charges.

Venezuelan-born industrial designer Pablo Pardo founded Pablo Designs in San Francisco in 1993, after a career that ran from Fisher-Price roller skates to Chrysler concept cars. His lights have won Best Lighting at ICFF, Best of Competition at NeoCon, a Red Dot and a German Design Award, and SFMOMA holds his work in its permanent collection. It was developed in San Francisco by the Pablo Studio, the company’s in-house team of makers and inventors.
