Pablo Bel Occhio Plug-In Globe Table Lamp, 16 in Rotating Acrylic, Dimmable

A plug-in table lamp that works as ambient light or a spotlight: aim the globe by hand and dim it with the cord switch, no installation needed.

We curate lighting for working rooms, and the Bel Occhio table lamp earns its place where one fixture has to do two jobs. It plugs into any standard outlet, so it suits consoles, credenzas, reception counters and bedside tables in homes, hotel rooms and offices alike. Turn the sphere to throw light at a wall, the ceiling or a task, then set the level with the in-line slide dimmer.

Best for / where to use it

• Living room or den: on a sideboard or console as the second light layer behind a sofa.
• Bedroom: on a wide dresser or a bedside table with room for a 16 in sphere.
• Hotel and hospitality rooms: a plug-in accent that needs no electrician and swaps out easily.
• Offices and reception: on a desk or counter, aimed at a wall to soften a hard-lit space.
• Retail display: on a plinth, turned to spotlight merchandise nearby.

Installation & planning

• Plug-in only: no hardwiring, canopy or ceiling work.
• Set it on a stable, level surface at least 10 in (25 cm) across; leave space around the globe so it can turn freely.
• Reserve a nearby outlet within 8 ft (244 cm) of the cord, with the slide dimmer within reach.
• Use one 8 W LED BT15 medium-base bulb, as Pablo specifies.
• Keep it indoors in dry spaces.

Who this is not for

• Narrow side tables: the 16 in sphere needs a wide surface.
• Damp or outdoor locations: no damp or wet rating is published.
• Anyone who wants warmer light as it dims: the color temperature is fixed at 2700K.

Frequently asked questions

How much table space does a Bel Occhio table lamp need?

Plan for a flat surface at least 10 in (25 cm) deep and wide to seat the 9.5 in (24 cm) base, plus clear air around the 16 in (40.5 cm) sphere so you can turn it. Overall height is 16.5 in (42 cm), which suits a console, credenza or reception counter better than a narrow nightstand.

How far from the outlet can I place it?

The fabric cord is 8 ft (244 cm) long and ends in an in-line slide dimmer, so the lamp can sit several feet from a wall outlet. Route the cord behind the furniture so it stays out of walkways.

Can I use it in a bathroom, covered patio or other damp area?

No. Pablo publishes no damp or wet rating for this lamp, so we recommend dry, indoor rooms only. For bathrooms or covered exteriors, choose a fixture with a listed damp or wet rating.

How should I clean the clear acrylic globe?

Unplug the lamp, then wipe the sphere with a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid paper towels, glass cleaners and solvents, which can scratch or cloud acrylic.

Can I order several for a hotel, office or retail project?

Yes. Our trade program covers designers, architects and hospitality buyers, and we quote multi-unit orders by finish and quantity. Because the lamp plugs in, a room count is a purchasing question rather than an electrical one; send us your quantities and we will confirm lead times.

Will it pair with the other Bel Occhio fixtures in the same room?

Yes. The family shares the same 16 in clear acrylic sphere and white or orange inner column, so a Bel Occhio pendant over a dining table and this lamp on a nearby console read as one scheme. Keep the diffuser color the same across pieces for the closest match.
