Flexible LED tape light for continuous lines of light under cabinets, in coves and on shelves.
The Nora Lighting NUTP9 is a Side-Lit 24V LED Tape Light, 70lm per ft. Side-Lit LED tape has the same performance features as the standard damp label tape, but instead of projecting the light at 90 degrees and a 120 degree beam spread the light is projected to the side, parallel to the mounting surface of the tape. For example, when mounted under a cabinet in a horizontal position, the light projects sideways toward the back splash with minimal reflection on the counter top.
Spec sheet & downloads
Nora's spec sheet has the dimension drawing, cut points and full technical details. Please check it (or share it with your electrician) before ordering.
What you need to buy
Driver not included: this is a 24V light, so it needs a Nora 24V LED driver (order separately), sized for the total load.
Tape light runs on 24V, so you also need a 24V LED driver (power supply), sold separately. Size the driver to the total wattage of the tape plus 20% headroom (our advice). Sections link together with the matching cables below.
Power and connection:
- NATL-2xx Linking Cable for Side-Lit Tape Light
- NATL-300W "Y" Splitter Cable for Side-Lit Tape Light
- NATL-301W "X" Splitter Cable for Side-Lit Tape Light
- NATL-509W 9" Power Cord with DC Connector for 24V Side-Lit Tape Light
For a clean, diffused line of light, mount the tape in an aluminum channel from our Tape Light Accessories collection.

Frequently asked questions
Does the NUTP9 need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V and needs a Nora LED driver (power supply), sold separately. Add up the wattage of everything on the driver and leave about 20% spare capacity (our advice).
Which length should I choose?
Measure the run. Short sections are for small spaces; full rolls can be cut to length at the marked points.
Which color temperature should I choose?
2700K is warm and cozy; 3000K is a soft warm white that flatters kitchens; 3500K is neutral; 4000K is crisp and cool for task areas and garages; 5000K is daylight white. (our guide)
